Positive: The house is a 3 storey old manor house built in the 1800`s and very well restored. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which has a balcony overlooking Lake Ontario. The apartment is a great size, very well equipped and nicely decorated. The bedroom in particular is a good size and very attractive. The location is about 4 miles outside of Kingston, easy to find, secluded and quiet. There are two flights of stairs to climb which may be an issue for the less limber, but that goes with being a penthouse.
Negative: Nothing. If you book a penthouse in a 3 storey house then you have to accept that there will be stairs to tackle.
Summary: A beautiful, large and well equipped apartment with character. The balcony is the icing cake
